State's consumers not as upbeat

Consumer confidence is dipping slightly in Florida.The monthly University of Florida consumer survey released Tuesday shows consumer confidence dropped after reaching one of its highest points since 2002.The survey measured confidence in August at 96.5, which is 1.2 points lower than it was previously. The lowest index possible is a 2 and the highest is 150.Hector Sandoval of the Economic Analysis Program at UF's Bureau of Economic and Business Research said consumer
